2026 Reach for a Star Luncheon

For over 40 years, the Reach for a Star Luncheon has raised funds to support the after-school and adaptive sports programs at the Henry Viscardi School, which educates children, K through age 21, with severe physical disabilities who often require life-sustaining medical treatment throughout the day. This specialized, accessible educational setting provides a fully enriched academic program, a variety of therapies, assistive technology and medical supports to students who may otherwise need to receive instruction in their homes or a hospital setting.

The Reach for a Star Luncheon features an elaborate cocktail hour, a sit-down lunch, a chance raffle and silent auction with fabulous items, and an entertaining program. This year’s Luncheon will feature Broadway star Kelli Barrett, who recently starred as Bertie White in Beaches and had principal roles in six other Broadway productions, including Parade, Wicked, and Dr. Zhivago. Her extensive screen credits include recurring roles in Fosse/Verdon, Dynasty, Younger, Chicago Fire, and The Punisher. In addition to her work as a performer, Kelli is a published author, director, teacher, Master Certified Life Coach, and Partner/Creative Director of Full Circle Artists. She also tours internationally with her husband, Tony Award nominee Jarrod Spector, performing their acclaimed cabaret shows.
